Kids Garden Club
Kids Garden Club will return to Clintonville Farmers' Market for 2016!
We are excited for this season of working with children in our community to help them learn to grow and appreciate fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. This year the garden will again be under the direction of Ellen McAuliffe, a longtime enthusiastic Clintonville backyard gardener.
Last year's group grew over 55 different kind of plants, visited Franklin Park Conservatory's edible garden campus, toured Swainway Urban Farm, and visited some neighborhood beehives.
Kids Garden Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday May 3, when the kids will decide what they want to grow, and discuss the season. Meetings will be the first and third Tuesday of every month, from 5:30-7:30at the garden: 4268 Colerain Avenue.

Organic Farmer Program
2016 marks the second year of the Clintonville Farmers' Market's Organic Farmer Program (OFP). CFM is dedicated to supporting and furthering the progression of sustainable agriculture. To that end, the market offers financial and procedural support to a limited number of new or returning growers that are interested in obtaining organic certification for the season. The goal of this program is to help incubate and support certified organic growers, and to increase the supply of organic food available at the market.
